Set in 7.5 acres of grounds, Hebron Hall Christian Centre is located on the outskirts of the village of Dinas Powys, within the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. The Centre opened in 1983 and is owned and administered by an independent, non-denominational charitable trust.
The village is some four miles south west of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, which has become a vibrant city housing the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay, Techniquest, theatres, cinemas, the Millennium Opera House Centre and an impressive shopping centre. There are frequent train services from the local station, less than 10 minutes walk from the Centre, which will take you straight into the heart of the city in 15 minutes.
For those wanting the sea and the sand you can travel by road or frequent rail service to the beach at Barry Island or to the friendly Welsh towns of Llantwit Major or Bridgend, with interesting shops. Alternatively you can drive to Ogmore, Southerndown or Porthcawl in about 40 minutes.
St Fagan’s Museum of Welsh life is just off the M4 and 15 minutes drive from the Centre. With free admission it is a wonderful day out for people of all ages. The beautiful Gower Peninsular and the Brecon Beacons are both about 1 hour’s drive away and are well worth a visit if you are staying for a longer period.
Facilities and functions of the Centre include:
- Accommodation for Residential Conferences
- Day Conference Facilities
- Swimming Pool and Sports Hall
- Care Home for Older People
- Sheltered Housing Complex
